With the holiday season upon us, the streets in Boston are filled with seasonal cheer, celebrations and more. We’ve gathered the top ways to celebrate the Festival of Lights this season in Boston and beyond.
Grab a Cocktail at the Hanukkah Pop-Up Bar
Starting in 2018, the Maccabee Bar was founded by award-winning bartender Naomi Levy. Designed for anyone and everyone who wants to experience a different side of the holiday, the Maccabee Bar pop-up transforms its host locations into an immersive Hanukkah experience filled with festive décor, themed cocktails, and traditional bites.
This year’s pop-up, open now through New Year's Day, is at Noir in Harvard Square. Book your table today!
Reserve a Hanukkah Dinner at the Inn at Hastings
Travel a bit outside of Boston proper to Town Meeting Bistro at the Inn at Hastings Park in Lexington. From December 17th - 20th, you can sample a delicious menu of all your Hanukkah favorites. Choose from the pomegranate molasses braised brisket or the chicken paprikash, ending the meal with an upside-down noodle kugel. And don’t forget the latkes, with extra sour crème fraiche, please, and thanks.
Come Together for an Evening of Art, Music and Activities at the Museum of Fine Arts
Come together on December 18 for an evening of art, music, and activities in celebration of Hanukkah, the Jewish festival of lights. Be among community, watch performances of music and dance from around the world, see a pop-up photography installation exploring Sephardic traditions, dine on Hanukkah treats, and immerse yourself in the diversity of Jewish culture and identity. The evening also features a Hanukkah Parade beginning at the Linde Family Wing and ending at the Shapiro Family Courtyard.

You can visit Faneuil Hall Marketplace on Thursday, December 18 at 4:00 PM for an indoor Chanukkah celebration.
